Raj Vikash Verma is a seasoned financial sector and housing finance professional with nearly four decades of experience spanning development finance, mortgage finance, financial regulation, policy formulation and institution building. He has held several senior leadership positions, including Chairman & Managing Director of National Housing Bank (NHB), Whole-time Director and Officiating Chairman of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), and the founding CEO & MD of CERSAI. He has also served as Chairman of India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation and held board and advisory positions with leading financial institutions and regulatory bodies, including IBBI, IMGC and AU Small Finance Bank. His extensive experience encompasses financial-sector policy, regulatory and supervisory frameworks, risk management, market infrastructure, institutional development and engagement with national and international institutions including the World Bank, IFC and Asian Development Bank. He currently serves as Chairman and Independent Director on the boards of Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd., Veritas Finance Ltd. and Encore Asset Reconstruction Co. Ltd., among other board positions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University, a Master’s degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, an MBA from FMS, Delhi University, and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
